Ginnie Love Ginnie Love - Co-Owner, Station Management, PR, Talent Development and senior on air talent.

Host of Lyrical Rhapsody, Ginnie Love is a psychotherapist, teacher, writer and lyricist whose hunger for music and lyric began at birth. Her mother still enjoys telling the story of her new born babe’s refusal to fall into slumber unless music was playing nearby. And per her mother’s favorite music being the blues, an early love affair was cultivated. Ginnie Love’s musical influences are endless; a vast array of artists including Johann Pachelbel, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Nicks, Eddie Hazel, Bob Marley, Prince, Parliament/Funkadelic, Led Zeppelin, Chaka Khan, Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, Al Green, Otis Redding, funktress Betty Davis to Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn.

Destined to be an advocate for the expressive arts, writing her first poem in pre-school years on a napkin that her mother has to this day, listening to music for hours and reciting lyrics with ease, her first fictional based story being published while in the third grade and in preteen years Ginnie began performing what she proudly called her ‘gigs’ at weddings playing keyboard and piano, Minnie Ripperton and The Carpenters being favorites to perform.

Music and lyricism are not a part of her life they are embedded within her soul. Lyrical Rhapsody is a glimpse into the stories of life experiences through music that free the spirit. Ginnie learned early in life that all art forms are an emotional expression of the spirit and their gift to us are transforming and transcendence. This is where the name Lyrical Rhapsody originates.
